What this converter actually supports

Published ebook routes use the deployed Calibre conversion runtime. Only unprotected files are supported; the service does not remove DRM or fetch missing remote book assets.

Quality and format limits

EPUB and related ebook formats are usually reflowable, while PDF and print-replica formats are fixed-layout. Moving between those models can change page breaks, fonts, navigation, and image placement.

Missing package files, broken links, or old markup can prevent a complete book from being assembled.

If a OEB conversion fails

Check that the file opens in its original application, is not encrypted or DRM-protected, and really matches its extension. A damaged header, unsupported internal codec, missing linked asset, or mislabeled file can fail even when OEB is generally supported. Try a different published target only when it fits your goal; changing the extension by hand does not convert the file.
